unit 64 and 65 technical and aesthetic aspects of my work

I found that many aspects of 3D studio max are far more technical than they first appeared, however I have found that creating bones and skeletons for 3D characters is easily accomplished once the bones are properly labelled with bone tips and what part of the body that particular bone belongs to. However I find that I need to improve my ability to extrude shapes and models to fit the concept art in order to meet my original intentions. I also need to improve my understanding of lighting in 3D studio max and how to create different effects and themes with it.

At first I found the 3D studio max interface slightly overwhelming with each section giving me different options to choose from for different types of work. However the interface allows for great control over any work you produce from different viewports that can be changed and resized allowing for great customization. The perspective viewport shows what the object as it appears while other views such as left, top and front show the model from that single view. I believe that I need to work on making animations smoother and making them more realistic using the principles of animation so that I can improve the quality of my work. However I found that I can switch from the different views without much trouble so that I can alter a shape of an object more effectively. I also need to develop the shape of characters I create in 3D studio max and make them more unique and less blocky to help create smoother animations.
