Unit 67 content and style of work

When creating the storyboard i had some issues creating it such as labelling all the layers correctly, this was because i had seperated each frame of the storyboard onto a seperate layer as well as the colouring, this made it difficult to tell what layer belonged to what part of the image, i quickly resolved this by going back through my work and labelling each and every layer correctly. I also had problems with the image looking very plain without parts of the image standing out, i changed this by adding different effects using the Fx button in Photoshop allowing me to add glows and strokes over my work.

From creating this storyboard i have learnt alot about photoshop, its uses and about the entire storyboarding process. I have become more familiar using photoshop and can use layers effectively to create a high quality image. My drawing skills as well have improved from desgining the storyboard in the beginning, i feel that i have become more skilled in making images appear 3D. I also experimented in creating different styles of images showing me different ways that the storyboard could have been created. But from this unit i have developed my existing drawing skills and abilities in Photoshop such as use of layers, the gradient tool, patterns, and the clone tool in particular were used effectively to create the storyboard.

In the end i was able to meet the deadline for my storyboard with everything compelted on time. In order to meet my original intentions i had to make some changes but i was still able to meet the deadline in the end. For my time management i decided to plan out the order in which i would do the work and then find out how long i had to compelte that work. I had to continue some parts of the work in my own time in order to meet the deadlines but i found that i had very few issues with time.
